Which parameters are almost always missing.
Dimensions, pressure, medium, temperature – in many enquiries, everything is clearly defined. And yet we still see leaks, increased wear or short service lives later on.

Crucial parameters are missing or are underestimated.
▪ Movement profile
Speed, acceleration, micro-movements, standstill.
▪ Surface condition
Not the target value from the drawing, but the actual condition.
▪ Lateral forces & deflection
Even minimal misalignment pushes seals to their limits.
▪ Temperature range
It is not only the maximum temperature that is crucial, but also the temperature at the sealing surface or lip.
Practical experience shows:
It wasn't the seal that was wrong – it was the application that was incompletely described.
This is the difference between product selection and system understanding. Hydraulic seals react sensitively to their environment throughout the entire system.
