The Baß Antriebstechnik group of companies, headquartered in Gebsattel near Rothenburg o.d.T., is today one of the leading manufacturers of gearboxes and drive components for mechanical engineering. With over 185 employees, the company mainly develops and designs customised solutions in-house and produces them at three locations.

The solutions include more than 1,100 special gearboxes, gearboxes with couplings, worm gearboxes, freewheels and backstops, pulleys, frictional connections and clamping sets, gear wheels and gear racks. The same demand for the highest quality and flexibility, as well as ttv's extensive experience in all industries, brought the two companies together in September 2010 - a partnership that is still characterised by great trust today. Seals have been one of ttv's two core areas of expertise for over 30 years and have been a successful growth driver. ttv sealing technology is used by Baß in all sectors - including in the agricultural technology sector, which is so important for ttv, with Baß customers such as CLAAS, Pöttinger and AGCO.

The seals from ttv are predestined to withstand extreme influences such as high speeds, aggressive media, mud, dust or temperature ranges from -55°C to +180°C in a wide variety of industries.
