Since its foundation in 1989, Marantec has been a leading specialist for private and commercial operator solutions. With sites in Marienfeld and Legden, the company manufactures customised operator systems for garage doors, external doors and industrial doors that comply with all legal standards for international markets and offer maximum safety and convenience thanks to patented technologies.

As an innovative family business in the field of drive technology, Marantec has made a name for itself since its foundation and was recognised as a top innovator in the field of electronics/electrical engineering in 2021. Several European specialist companies belonging to the group are involved in the production process of the drive solutions. For example, the wound stators required for the operators are produced in Hungary and then used by Sigl in Upper Bavaria to manufacture geared motors for Marantec roller and high-speed door operators.

The foundation stone for the long-standing and successful collaboration between the Marantec Group and ttv was laid many years ago by ttv company founder Jochen Nitzschke and the former owner of Sigl Elektromotoren GmbH & Co.
