Transport and logistics:

We can also confirm the positive developments in the transport and logistics sector. Freight rates, capacities, but above all transit times and lead times have changed sustainably for the better in recent weeks. Even if our production has not yet reached the pre-2020 level due to a very high order backlog and a production time of approx. 9 - 10 months, the improvement in the transport chain is having a positive effect.

You have already received some of the modified order confirmations with preferred dates. This means that you can deliver to your customers promptly and on schedule. 

The positive overall situation also has an impact on the transport and logistics surcharge that has become necessary in 2022. We would like to thank you for your cooperation in managing this situation.

Some developments in material prices and procurement are equally positive. No clear trend can yet be identified in the development of production costs, with prices remaining constant for some time. We will keep you up to date on this issue and provide you with more information in the coming weeks.
